Dr. Elliot Frank is a dual board-certified family physician in Canada (CCFP) and USA (ABFM). He completed a 3-year family medicine residency in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has been working in Canada ever since. His passion for helping people who are struggling with pain has led him to partner with the amazing team of rehabilitation specialists at NeuMovement to offer two life-changing therapies. The first is called PRP. This is a treatment where platelets are purified directly from a patient’s blood and re-injected into several damaged tissues, leading to tissue regeneration, healing, and significant improvement in quality of life. This therapy can help control arthritis, tendon injuries and chronic pain, and can help regenerate other cells too, leading to hair regrowth and facial rejuvenation. The second is called Neuromodulator therapy, which can relax tight and spasmodic muscles of the body. Botox is the most well known example. Applications for botox are wide and include treatment of migraines, teeth grinding and TMJ issues, whiplash injury and chronic head and neck pains, over-sweating of the armpits and palms, and of course, treatment of wrinkles and fine lines of the face. Outside of work, Dr. Frank enjoys raising his 2 young children, cycling, gardening, urban foraging, and exploring the sites and flavours of our beautiful Okanagan region.
